01About

About this course

Master Recursion is a focused course designed to help students understand one of the most important and challenging concepts in programming: recursion. The course starts by explaining recursion in a very simple and visual way, focusing on how recursive functions work, how function calls are created and resolved, and how to identify the correct base case and recursive step. Rather than relying only on theory, the course is heavily problem-solving oriented. Students work through more than 20 different recursion problems, gradually moving from simple examples to more challenging applications. Throughout the course, students learn how to break a large problem into smaller versions of the same problem, trace recursive calls, understand the call stack, recognize common recursion patterns, and develop the thinking needed to write recursive solutions independently. By the end of Master Recursion, students will not only understand how recursion works in C, but will also be able to recognize when recursion is useful and confidently apply it to solve programming problems. This course provides a strong foundation for upcoming topics such as Data Structures, Algorithms, Trees, Backtracking, and Dynamic Programming.
